[She broke and he reveled in that image, knowing it would be burned into his mind forever. Whatever might happen, however long he had with her, he'd have this. He couldn't think much past that as her body squeezed his, demanding he join her as she came. How could he do anything but oblige her? Holding her head, wings coming up to reach the ceiling before slamming down onto the bed, knocking off the basket he'd had on one end table washing a cooling wind over both of them as he came. Again, he emptied himself into her, broken little gasps leaving him as he nibbled and licked at her lips, saying sweet words that were, unfortunately, in a variety of languages other than English.]

[He was truly a sight to behold. And while he may remember this moment forever, so would she. The way his face looked when he came, the feel of him around her and emptying himself inside her, the sight and sound of his wings beating heavily against the bed. And then that symphony of foreign noises filling her ears; while Chloe did not know any other language besides her own, she could practically feel the aching gentleness there, felt the shape of his affection like it was a tangible thing.

Her arms sought him out, holding him to her and stroking over his back in encouraging, soothing circles as he climbed down from that high.]

[With a slithering, rustling sound of feathers on feathers, there was another soft gust of air before those wings slid back into that void inside him, that in-between space he could have them and hide them in. He was made whole again, and he never felt that more clearly than he had in that moment with her under him, him still inside her, softening, and her hands touching him as if she still couldn't get enough of him.

Another soft kiss to her lips, her chin, her nose, then he drew up to look down at her, a hand moving to slide her hair out of her face, comb it out onto the pillow under her head as he smiled down at her.]

I knew it would be good. I always knew that. I just... underestimated how good.

[She heard those sounds and tilted her head to watch his wings disappear into some negative space, hands drifting over the spot between his shoulder blades as if she could still touch them. But then she was distracted by more important matters, such as the gentle lift of her hair out of her face and the way he kissed her. She felt his body rest against hers, feeling that warmth and sated feeling of him softening inside of her so acutely she couldn't help but bask in it for a moment.

He spoke, then, and it's such a Lucifer thing for him to say, though it's tempered by something a little quieter, perhaps a little more awed. And suddenly the weight of what they've done together hits her, a small, almost shy smile rising to her lips. Like they just got away with something.]

You saying I surpassed your expectations?

Yes.

[Still smiling, he continued to finger-comb her hair out onto the pillow, following the strands down to the bed before sliding his hand back up to do it all over again.]

I'm also saying that I think I understand now how one might not be able to get someone out of their system after something so... well.

[Her eyes fluttered closed as he pet her hair, body relaxing under his as she gently stroked a hand over his back.]

After something so what?

Intimate. In a way I hadn't had before.

[Oh, certainly he'd been close with others; men and women wound around him or he them. But there were, he was finding out, varying levels of closeness. Of intimacy. Of sensation and feelings and emotions that deepened something as simple as a kiss.]

[She remembered all those men and women lined up in and outside of the station. How they all called him a good time but didn't consider him to be anything else. As she curled around him a little tighter, she couldn't help but find that a bit sad, though her heart couldn't help but skip a bit at being referred to as special.]

I still find that hard to believe. Being alive for so long, and you've never...?

[She trails off, not really knowing how to finish that sentence.]

[No, sorry, Chloe. He wasn't entirely certain where you were going with this.]

[He certainly wasn't making this easy on her, was he? She paused, as if thinking of how to word this.]

Been in a relationship. That wasn't entirely based on sex.

Well... mm. There's Maze, but I don't think that's what you're implying.

[Smiling down at her, he finally moved, shifting his body so he could draw out of her, sliding to the side to prop himself up on his elbow so he could keep looking at her.]

Never been in a 'relationship', love. Never wanted to be. Humans are fun and interesting and I love to play with them, but they've never been more than just... there.

[It's said a bit dryly, but she's not too bothered altogether. For the Devil, he sure seemed to have an affinity for humans in general, though perhaps not a very high opinion in terms of overall status in comparison to him.

She sighed gratefully when he gave her some more space, certain parts of her still sensitive from earlier.]

Well... as someone who has experienced them before, I can tell you you've been missing out on a different kind of fun.

Hardly. I'm not exactly into bestiality, no matter what that bloody book says.

[His free hand kept petting her hair, placing strands here and there over the pillow, fingers stroking down over her shoulder as he kept that please smile on his face that seemed to be there of its own volition.]

Gross. I'm starting to understand why you have so much to be offended about.

[She was sore but relaxed, a smile of her own rising to mirror his as he touched her. Carefully so as not to disturb his movements too much, she rolled over onto her side to face him.

She opened her mouth to say something before closing it again, as if she decided against it. When she spoke again, she seemed more at ease.]

Probably someone who's found the right person for it, I'd imagine.

[He waited until she was done moving to go back to petting her, fingers sliding over her shoulder and down her arm, trying to get goosebumps to skate across her skin.]

Well, you can hardly blame me, love. Waited all those years and only one of you was right. How could I not think it was nonsense?

Is this the part where you break out into song again? I might have to leave immediately.

[A shudder rolled down her spine and, indeed, goosebumps rose over her flesh at the teasing stroke of his fingers. There was an easy smile on her face as she pushed herself up and half on top of him, as if trying to roll him over. Her voice was gentler on the next part, though.]

Can't really wait for someone you had no idea you'd find. But... I'm glad you did. [A beat.] Or I'm glad I found you, more like.

Nonsense. I saw you. You liked it.

[His finger moved to gently touch her nose, then she was moving him and he let her -- of course.]

Truthfully? I wasn't entirely certain it was something I could feel. Or any angel, really. Not for a human. But you lot... well. Even mum seemed to have found herself all gooey over-- ugh. Daniel...

Liked is a strong word. More like begrudgingly tolerated.

[She's not holding back that smile, though, an obvious good mood playing across her face as she gazed down at him. Which softened a bit as he spoke about the nature of angels and what it meant for him to feel these things.]

Well... maybe angels are closer to us humans than you thought. You might not be the most self-reflective person I know, but you feel, Lucifer. Stronger than some humans I know.

[With that, she leaned down to plant a soft kiss to his lips before she started to move to get up.]

Oh-ho...

[A muted protest as she leaned down, kissing him gently before she went to move. His hands automatically went to her hips to hold her in place.]

And where do you think you're going, young lady? I'm not nearly done with you yet.

[She snorted, amused, before trying to gently tug his hands away.]

I was going to use the bathroom. Especially since you went to the trouble to get such a fancy room. Might as well get your money's worth.

[Is there a hint of sarcasm there? Maybe.]

Would you like a shower? Or maybe a bubble bath? I'd love to join you for either.

[Knowing she was just going to be gone a little while let him loosen his grip on her, hands sliding down to her knees so she could get up. Oh, don't worry, Chloe. He heard that cheek.]

I wasn't exactly planning on it, but I have a feeling you're gonna follow me in anyhow.

[She'd just been planning to clean herself up a little before lying back down with him, after all. But he was cute with how intent he was. And the way his hair curled from all their earlier activities.]

Not if you don't want me to... but I certainly would love a reason to get my hands all over your.

[She's grinning as she rolls off of him and onto her feet, stretching and padding naked over to the bathroom before glancing over her shoulder at him.]

Come if you're coming.

[He watched her stretch, saw her sashay naked towards the bathroom and he felt that coil of desire flicker back to life low in his belly. Mm, the things she did to him. His healthy appetite felt like it was suddenly ravenous, and he moved to crawl over the bed, eyes on her before he stepped off it and came towards her.]
