That's what I'm trying to figure out. It's less me having any kind of power and more of how I affect someone else's.

Nullifying others is still a power. Not a very fun one, but yes.

Doesn't that inconvenience make it all the more special when you can work around your problem for someone? Your willingness to try becomes the real gift.

My moments of depth are vastly outweighed by my shallow passions, no fear. ;)

My Verity was the one person I couldn't use my powers around. I didn't mind. I would still spend every minute with her that we shared, and more. She was my friend.

It wouldn't be her fault. Verity would never intentionally cause me harm.

I guess I'm just trying to make sense of things that aren't really logical. I'm not doing a great job with this whole "magic" thing.
