Yeah. I neglected to fill it out because I didn't install it. Sorry to disappoint you.

Does this mean we can't be friends?? :'O

Friends are fine, as long as that's all it is. Since you know my name, in the interest of friendship, want to tell me yours? I like to know exactly who I'm talking to.
no subject
Really, plain old 'Loki' will do.
no subject
I don't suppose that's just a clever nickname or call sign, is it?
no subject
Genuinely, yes. God of Mischief, Norse variety. I would type up all my clever nicknames for you to peruse but then we'd be here all night and I'd rather get to know YOU, not my back-catalogue of titles.
no subject
Ah, of course I wouldn't be that lucky. I'm not really sure why you'd be interested in me, though. There's nothing much to talk about. Homicide detective from LA, mother of one. Pretty much a normal human, for the most part.
no subject
I didn't know I'd be interested in you at all, Chloe, this is wonderful! Your mysterious profile was covering up all these fascinating deets. Have you uprooted any homicides here?
no subject
Not yet. I'm only a recent arrival, for one, and I'm also not actually assigned as a detective here. Yet.
no subject
[ Also because of being a supervillain for so long, but ... leaving that part out. ]
Are you angling to get into the police force, then? I know Officer Grayson! He's gorgeous, you should work with him!!
If I ask him to, would you like him to put in a good word on your behalf?
no subject
I'm actually already on the force as an officer. I haven't had the opportunity to meet Officer Grayson yet, but I wouldn't be opposed to getting to know a new coworker. Besides, he wouldn't be able to put a good word in for me without having seen what I can bring to the table, right?
no subject
AHHH yes, I'm sure you're right. But he's a very good man, he's certain to treat you fairly if you deserve it.
no subject
All good things to have in a cop. Sounds like you really respect the man.
no subject
Grayson is kinder than most.
no subject
Is he someone you knew from home, or met here?
no subject
It's got a GREAT bar.
I met Grayson here, he grew on me like a pretty weed over breakfast.
no subject
Interesting turn of phrase. Sounds like you like to make friends wherever you go, if your general disposition is anything to go by.
no subject
I do! :) I had to leave mine behind when I came here, but she wouldn't want me to be antisocial.
no subject
[She knows one supernatural being who does that, anyway.]
Ah. She, huh? I bet your friend would be happy to see your progress.
no subject
Verity Willis. If you hear about her turning up here, could you let me know?
no subject
Verity Willis. Got it. I'll keep an eye out for her. Any appearance markers I should be looking out for in particular? Any distinguishing features?
[Her next reply is delayed.]
If you see a little girl, about 8-years old with dark hair and brown eyes and full of energy, mind doing the same for me?
no subject
Verity is 5'8, with pink/purple/red hair, glasses, tattoo sleeves of fairies and flowers, and she looks permanently impatient.
What's the little girl's name so I don't go around accidentally abducting children off the sidewalk and bringing them to you?
no subject
I'd be able to identify her pretty easily, if by nothing else than the tattoos and hair. If I hear or see anything, I'll let you know.
Her name is Beatrice, but she goes by Trixie. Not so sure she'd tell you, though. We've had extensive talks about how not to talk to strangers. Either way, don't abduct any children. I'd have to arrest you.
